About Our Grants

Since the infusion of significant assets into the Foundation in 2012, the Foundation has made grants totaling nearly $25 million.

While the majority of Foundation grants support projects within the Foundation’s areas of interest through its General Funding, the Foundation also makes grants at the discretion of the Foundation Trustees through DiscretionaryDisaster Contingency, and other grant funding.

  • In 2012, the Foundation made grants totaling more than $3 million.  During that same year, the Foundation took a new look at its funding interests through a strategic planning process.
  • In 2013, the Foundation began committing funds within its new interest areas.  Since 2013, the Foundation has made interest area grants totaling nearly $18 million.
  • Further, since 2014, the Foundation has made discretionary, disaster contingency, and other grants totaling approximately $4 million.

Please note that only 501(c)(3) organizations are Eligible to apply for Foundation funding.

Further, the Foundation only accepts applications from organizations invited to apply for funding.
